Re: Share a cuppa?

It would be nice if I was in a better place. @tyme I was told how stupid I was.

Sometimes it would be nice to be away from them.
I hope you are lucky enough to be close to your family other than the distance.

We had omelette but I’m not much of a cook. I don’t see the point for cooking for one.

Re: Share a cuppa?

I agree about not cooking for one. @Captain24 . I'm not keen on eating the same food all week lol. If I cook, and use one potato, one carrot, one tomato etc, it still makes enough for 3-4 meals...

It's so odd shopping for one. I buy one banana, one mandarin, 2 apples, 2 pears....and that's what it's like. There's no point buying bulk because it ends up going to waste.

Do you go to your folks every week for dinner? What's your work schedule like this week?

Re: Share a cuppa?

For over a week I couldn't have marshmallows because they've got fibre in them, and when I have a diverticular flare-up I have to try to avoid fibre for 10 days.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Shaz51

A shared Cuppa is always nice.

I had Divorce Papers Served on me on Saturday morning (2 days ago).

Someone (a 3rd Party he called himself), turned up at my front door.

I had no idea, was not expecting that.

I tried to tackle the Divorce issue years ago - Yet did not get past First Base.

The Divorce Hearing (on Form) is set for 29th August - In about 6 weeks time.

I'm still struggling with surviving work each day (beyond my Physical limits), which is why you only ever hear from me Via the Support Button.

Best Wishes,

Adge

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Adge

It sounds like you got a real shock when you received those papers without warning.

How are you feeling about it today? It must be a really stressful time for you. Do you have someone close you can talk to about the situation?

Sending hugs

Hanami

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Adge,

My name is FloatingFeather and I am one of the peer support workers at SANE.

I sorry to read about being served divorce papers unexpectedly - that must of been such a shock and what a cold way to have received them. I would also imagine that having a third party turn up on a Saturday with them would have really rattled you.

I do wish you all the best with it and please don't feel like you are alone. If need to talk and/or unload we are always here for you.

Best wishes,

FloatingFeather

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hey @Adge sorry this is the path your walking at the moment. Were you expecting it? I was the one that served my now ex husband and it wasn’t an easy thing to do even though I hated him. The process of a divorce is so emotionally and mentally draining, and it was such a relief once it was all finalised.
wishing you well

I can imagine divorce is difficult @Bow Even though it’s not a good marriage.
