Well done for getting out @RedHorse . Please stay safe where you are. I remember you once mentioning a leaking roof or something. I hope you don't have any leaks at the moment.
You absolutely deserve your cuppa.

Thanks for the tag.
Yes have been a bit absent,
Work is basically taking up all of my energy,
Get home, help out around the house and head for bed early most nights.
So many balls in the air it is hard to keep up lol.
I used to feel really guilty accepting a carer payment from centrelink, not any more.
Things are relatively stable at the moment and still hard to keep up.

Coming to the end of 2 weeks holiday
That again have been quite busy.
Not as bad as last break when we were in the middle of a natural disaster and I was out helping and supporting friends. That was emotional and not at all a break. Did a small road trip this break which was nice. Was hoping to get some cycli g and motocycle k's in but rain thwarted those plans .

I'm glad you no longer feel guilty about the carer's payment @Determined . I heard someone phone into a radio station about the payment, and it is so minimal for all the hours you spend caring for a loved one. If anything, I wish you got more support!
As I've mentioned before, I take my hat off to all who are carers @Shaz51 @Determined @Anastasia and everyone else I've missed.

Precisely @Shaz51 . It barely covers a trip to the hospital....
I know it can be tiring, but I hope you'll be able to advocate for yourselves while your mum is in hospital, and get the respite you need, esp in regards to Mr Shaz too.
Hugs,
tyme

We get physically ill from time to time, but when you can catch it early on, it's not too bad. The things I really miss when I'm ill are my exercise and music practice, I haven't been able to exercise for over a week, and haven't been able to pick up my trumpet for two weeks now.

Thanks for the hot choc @Captain24 !
You know, it’s actually nice that you get to have dinner with your folks.
I live in a different state to mine so I see them maybe once every 2 years… I do somehow miss them - well… their cooking lol.
What’d you have for dinner? Are you much of a cook?
