Re: Share a cuppa?

Yes @Former-Member

I have 3 adult children. One lives at home for 3 days per week and the other two are out of the home for the moment. Child number two is a chef and is living in a rental and child number 3 has gone to Hawaii to study for up to 4 years. Child number one stays with his girlfriend Friday’s through Monday’s and is at home the rest of the week.

Re: Share a cuppa?

It’s not so easy when they move away @Oaktree Even though mine still lives here, because it’s free, and I like to think she loves me. 😀 She’s basically not here. I find it difficult spending your whole life trying to protect them etc and then practically ignore you.

Re: Share a cuppa?

That must be hard @Former-Member

I don’t have children so for me I don’t really understand.

Re: Share a cuppa?

That’s true @Former-Member

It’s hard because you want your kids to be independent but you still want closeness. It’s hard to get the balance.
