little A came into our bed at about 4am. Hubby left for work at 4.30am. I was sleeping right on the edge. Then at 5.30 older son wakes up to find jersey on Ayla’s bed asleep!! Little A then wakes up and says “nonna my tummy is hungry we need to get up now”!!!!!

so we were up at 5.45am. She had cereal, piece of toast with jam, a sliced apple and then a small piece of orange cake I made few days ago!!!  Talk about growing. 
took her to swimming where we met my daughter. 

she’s so cute. Yesterday she helped me breadcrumb the chicken. And then helped make Anzac biscuits. I love her hugs she gives snd she says out of the blue “nonna you’re the best nonna ever I love you “ 

now I’m home alone laying on the bed with a sore lower back. I’m so tired.

She’s home now with her mum @hanami 

I will see her on Friday as her dad picks her up from my place for the night. 

ruminating a bit today. Can’t get my mums conversation out of my head.

Oh, I understand that rumination! I have ruminated about stuff my mum has said to me sooooo many times. We are in a good place right now thank goodness but honestly have had a tumultuous relationship overt the years. You wonder how your own mum can do/say such things to their own child. My mum is 74 now and has changed for the better in the last few years but there are times I still feel like I'm walking on eggshells. Sorry to take over and make it about me but just wanted to let you know, I can understand x

And mine with my mum has been great until lately only due to her dementia and been unwell 

But with my dad , I have always been rejected constantly throughout my life as @BlueBay knows 

But together we stand strong and understanding what we are all going through xx
