Need to vent

I’ve missed you. How are you today? I also had a terrible night last night. I’ve cancelled all my appointments for today so I can let my body rest.

Thinking of you and I’ll wait to hear how you are.

last night hubby went to the city with son and daughter and son-in-law to a concert  

little A stayed with me and she was sooooo tired from a birthday party and not spending much time with her mum.  she was so grumpy, wanted her mum and would not come to me.  finally after a long time she settled and i took her to mcdonalds for dinner.  she was very excited because she got a book in her happy meal pack.  came home bathed her and i read a book in her bed and she fell asleep.  i went to bed at 9.30 and couldn't sleep as i was getting scared that someone would come in and attack us.  

terrible dreams about my mum, me screaming at her and her again.  

taking A to the park and a baby chino later on.  then a quiet afternoon.

Awwww, that sounds like such beautiful Nonna, Little A time @BlueBay . I wish I was a fly on the wall. 

Kids bring so much joy. Did you end up reading the Happy Meal book to her? I definitely like the idea of books rather than toys as a choice in Happy Meals. 

I hope you have a great time at the park, and enjoy your ccinnos!!!

My back is sore. Laying down now. 
Yes I did read the maccas book soooo many times!!!

my daughter and partner came and stayed for dinner - pasta and meatballs. and little A snd I made an orange cake for dessert. 

they’ve gone now so I think an early night.

Oh yeah @tyme little A loves to help all the time. 
do you know she even helped me serve the dessert to everyone. She’s only 4 but such a good girl. 

abd then out of the blue she’ll say “nonna I love you” 

And the weird thing is by tomorrow I’ll be back to sad depressed and so down again.

Hey @BlueBay , quoting above, do you think it is a self-fulfilling prophecy? It doesn't have to be that way. I've been there. It's not pleasant. What is something you can do so it doesn't become the norm?

The thing is @tyme is that because I had little A today I had so much love. So much delight when she’s around. 
niwa she’s not with me - it’s a big drop if happiness. 
does this make sense??

i am home alone during the week. I will start packing things in boxes.
