Re: I can’t cope

Hey @Captain24 ,

Sounds like things have been tough. Hope you've been able to sit down for a cuppa.

btw, the webchat is back up and running.

Re: I can’t cope

It’s been a wild ride @tyme

I hit rock bottom again. But then at 12:30 this morning I was so wired that I got up and did housework for a few hrs. I’ve had about 3 hrs sleep and still haven’t stopped. It’s so good!

Re: I can’t cope

Sounds like you got a lot done then @Captain24 .

That's the good part of living alone. You can cook when you want, clean when you want, garden when you want, shower when you want - and no one will tell you to be quiet!

I vacuum the house at odd hours. Every month, I have a cleaning bug... I believe they call it 'nesting'?

LOL

See you around.

Re: I can’t cope

Lucky I live alone @tyme ! I’m sure no one would have appreciated the vacuum cleaner at 3 am. I usually only clean once a week and only where people can see. I even did all the rooms I don’t use.

Hope you have had a great couple of days.

Re: I can’t cope

Way to go my @Captain24 😀👍

Yes I have to do things at weird times inbetween  everythinggoing on xx  @tyme , @hanami , @Bow , @FloatingFeather

Re: I can’t cope

Yes @Shaz51 @Captain24 ,

It's so funny how I'm so used to doing things at odds hours, that when I stay over at friends' places, I have to remember 3am vacuuming or showering is NOT very normal - and that I have to be quiet!

I went away with friends once and I got so hangry because I wasn't used to waiting for people to eat! Living alone means - if I feel hungry, I eat. If i don't feel hungry, I don't eat. But being with others meant eating 'together'. LOL.

I'll have to make a lot of adjustments if I live with others.

And @Captain24 , do you have people over often? No one comes to my place, so I clean as I go.

Re: I can’t cope

Only my mum @tyme  when she picks up the dog while I’m at work. So what she sees needs to be spotless! But I actually managed to have a bbq today with my parents and a couple that we are friends with for their farewell.

I can’t manage that clean as I go thing! Lol. The state of my house is usually a very good indicator of my headspace.

Re: I can’t cope

So true @Captain24  - I've noticed that about people in general. Their environment is a reflection of their headspace.

How interesting to hear this from someone else.

If I manage to get through this massive roller coaster I need to take note of the signs @tyme .

Re: I can’t cope

You will get through this bumpy bit @Captain24
