Re: I can’t cope

We come home on Tuesday. @tyme.

After last week I’m actually scared to go home. I just have to hope I can work through it all by then.

Re: I can’t cope

You WILL be okay @Captain24 - you are stronger than you give yourself credit for. You have already come so far. It may not feel like it, but you really have.

Re: I can’t cope

I have come a long way in the last 7 months. @tyme. I am proud of the work I have put in.

My problem is very time I crash it’s worse than before. I get closer to ending it each time. This last one has me really scared.

Re: I can’t cope

Find your protective factors @Captain24 , and live for those things.

Pixie is on the top of the list.

There IS HOPE of recovery.

Re: I can’t cope

Thanks for your support @tyme I will do my best to keep fighting. Plus I’ll fight to keep the good days when they come back.

Everything is pretty low on here tonight.

How was your day? Did you have the kids?

Re: I can’t cope

I had a short time with the kids today @Captain24 . I dipped my feet in the pool while they played in the pool.

My niece came over not long ago and asked me to sleep with her tonight for a sleepover. I told her it's too hot. She was upset, but then she ate corn chips at my place so she felt better.

She was telling me about having to make a speech at school for school council. I just tease her all the time. At least that's one kid who understands sarcasm early on. I find the 2 year old also understands sarcasm.

Sorry if i'm changing the direction of your conversation.. it's not because I don't care about you! Trust me 🙂

Re: I can’t cope

Oh how I appreciate the change!! @tyme

Im glad corn chips made her feel better. Maybe you can try a different tactic each time.

School council brings back terrible memories. The was one year where everyone was nominating people in the class. When the nominations were

done. The teacher counted and there was one student missing. It took a while for them to discover which one!

How does she go with public speaking?

Re: I can’t cope

My niece is extremely literate and a very good speaker and convincer lol... fingers crossed she doesn't become a lawyer! @Captain24 She would drive me to my wits end.

I actually don't mind conversing with my niece because she converses at an adult's level. She's actually really good to talk to.

That is also a concern because she doesn't get along with people her age. She's way beyond them in her thinking.

Oh, but she's terribly lazy. She uses her thinking power purely to get out of things!

Re: I can’t cope

Sorry @tyme I fell asleep. I’ve been so tired.

Good conversation skills at a young age will help her through life. Probably not so much now but as she gets older. Imagine the way she is going to convince you all as a teenager that she hasn’t done anything wrong!

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 , are you ok my friend

sitting with you xx
