I had a pretty good day today @Captain24 . Didn't start off the best, but it looks like it will end well 🙂 I guess it's what I make out of it.
I've learnt to embrace each challenge as an opportunity and room for growth.
I hope today wasn't too difficult for you,
tyme

I like the way you look at things @tyme
I’m sorry your day didn’t start well but I’m glad that it ending well.
I have so so much to learn and hope I can change.
I am trying to focus on the positives there was a beautiful sunset! I see lots of sunsets and sunrises. That’s a good part of my job.
I also handled a very challenging situation with calm.
I had smoke bellowing out of my work vehicle today and instead of instant panic I checked the tyres and it wasn’t coming from them but then I could see the ground covered in coolant. It was only steam! But a lot of it. I calmly sorted it all out. Then the adrenaline hit. When it wore off I then went down. But I am proud of the way I handled it.
I completed the day even after desperately wanting to give in.
While I’m not feeling good I’m not feeling as bad as I have been. Progress!! Lol

Woohoo @Captain24 ,
As I always say, "Strive for progress, not perfection".
Sounds like as least you know more about vehicles than most people!

Haha nah @tyme that’s my limit of vehicle knowledge!
I need to be patient and understand it’s going to take time. Patience is not one of my strong points. This is a very steep learning curve.

Hey @Captain24 ,
Patience isn't my strong point either! I'm work in progress when it comes to patience.
Just to let you know, I'm going to wrap up soon, so I'm so sorry I can't hang around for too long tonight.
Have you had dinner?

All good @tyme. Thanks for the chat. It helps lessen the darkness in my nights. I do really appreciate it.
Nah no dinner. I just couldn’t be bothered. I’m really failing at my homework. Lol
I hope you had something good.

Actually, I won't really be on much for the next few days.
We can share a cuppa when I see you next, along with @Bow @Shaz51 and others 🙂 Share a cuppa?
@Captain24 when I read your post "I hope you had something good"... it made me think of what I ate today. It's taken me 5 minutes to walk back through my day to realise I forgot to have dinner! I had lunch at about 2:30pm. Ooopsss. So no dinner makes the two of us (for tonight).
I certainly know how it feels to be too tired to eat. But at least it's a happy tired. That's all that matters.

Hi @Captain24 it’s good to see how well you are interacting on the forums.
My son cooked dinner here tonight so I’ve been a bit spoilt.

Thanks @Eve7. I don’t really have anyone in my life that I can talk to with out judgement and on here it’s easier and people don’t have ‘listen’ if they don’t want to. I can just get it out.
Its always good when someone else cooks for you. Sounds like you have a lovely sun.
