@Shaz51 ,
I haven't been on the last few days, so I have not yet caught up with what has been happening, but it certainly sounds like 30kms away is better than 60kms away!
While mum's been away, have you been able to have time for yourself and Mr Shaz? I guess when mum returns, it sounds like she will require 24/7 support.
I guess a lot of thought needs to be put in to best manage things. I hear it's easier to take one step at a time at this stage.
We're here if you need to reach out at any time 🙂

@Shaz51 - sounds like mum's one strong-headed person! Has she always been like that? or do you think this is becoming increasingly more obvious because of her condition?
@Captain24 - I've had some pretty busy days, but today was chill - oh, and super chilly! Everything was blanketed in frost. Couldn't walk without slipping on the frost! I believe it was -2 degrees for me this morning when I woke up.
Besides buzzing and cleaning, did you get up to anything else?

Oh, and for dinner @Shaz51 @Bow @Captain24 @Eve7 , I'll be having grilled chicken thigh fillets with roasted veges.

@tyme , mum had hip replacement surgery a week ago because it was broken
She was still experiencing pain yesterday which the doctors found out that her bowel obstruction has flared up so they fixed that and sent her by ambulance to the rehabilitation centre of the hospital 30kms away for more therapy
Doctors want her to stay permanently in our local hospital but there is a waiting list so will need to see if she can stay in hospital until there is a bed available permanently
Has been stressful weeks but it has been nice just the 2 of us xx
Phone calls to mum are stressful

Mum has always been a very strong, independent woman all her life
But I can see dementia now is playing a part in her life more now

@Captain24 hey Captain, thanks for caring. Have been struggling with a physical condition a few days. Exhausted. Can't see anything enjoyable in the near future. A bit sick of every thing.
