Re: Share a cuppa?

Nice cuppa.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Bit up and down @Former-Member  seen my psychologist this morning, rough session, got some concerning news, and now just spending some time with my daughter

how’s your day @Former-Member ?

Re: Share a cuppa?

I hope that wasn't too shocking for you, these things can be quite upsetting.  I hope you're ok.

Work can also be stressful.

I played chess again today and won again, that's twice in a row.  It was a close game, which makes even better when that happens.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Bow  and @Abner ,

Good you could stop by for a cuppa despite some upsetting news @Bow , and despite your chess playing @Abner .

Sitting with you,

tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

When we marry, usually it's for love, and even if the marriage isn't functioning it's still difficult when one partner no.longer wants to be there.  My sister and her first partner were in that situation.  However it isn't the end of the book, it's just finalising of a chapter.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hey @tyme do you know if the help desk chat is working? Been trying with no luck…

Re: Share a cuppa?

Back in 1989 I was being taught chess by the NSW chess champion of 1968.  He told me never to darken his doorstep again after he found out I was an LGBT man, and I had only had a few lessons from him.  It's really good to get back to playing the game, and find I haven't forgotten the principles of it I learned from him.  It's a game that teaches you clear thinking, and to define your purpose.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Sure is @Bow - may take a little longer tonight, but it's definitely up and running.
