Re: Share a cuppa?

Thanks @tyme it's just delicious. Hope you're having something yummy too.

Re: Share a cuppa?

As for sparkling water, I have it as an alternative to coke... @ArraDreaming . I think I like the fizz, not so much the coke itself. However, I don't like other fizzy drinks...only coke... so mu alternative is sparkling water @ArraDreaming @Abner .

I have mixed messages about it though. Because I have a feeling it wears down the enamel on my teeth, giving me sensitive teeth....

Re: Share a cuppa?

Amazing thanks @tyme

It was such a great night!! Our babysitter (a relative) was happy to stay until morning so we got the whole night so it ended up being a bit of a bigger night than we first thought…

Spent late into the night with her having a bit of celebration, and then my partner and missed the last train home so we ended up hanging out in the big smoke nightlife for a few more hours, haven’t done that in years!! So it was a good night all round. Considering I was already feeling sick it may not have been the best choice and then having to parent two children on probably an hours sleep combined between us is why we never go out like that, all in all a very good night!!

I may or may not have cried just a tiny little bit when her name got called 🥲 @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi all 🙂

thought I'd join you here. I am eating dinner.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Carbonated water is still good for us, it's just water that's had carbon added. I know that in large amounts carbon is a carcinogen, but let's not get carried away with that. We actually need moderate levels of carbon for good health, it's an essential building block for all living things on the planet. Also @tyme you'll find the bubbles in carbonated drinks massage the throat and can thereby help relieve a sore throat. So sparkling water, Kombucha, even occasional softdrinks and beer, as long as it's very occasional can help soothes be a sore throat.though those shouldn't be seen as hydrating - even with a sore throat one should always hydrate with water and carbonated water only..

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Former-Member ! Great you could join us! I'll make you a cuppa. What would you like?

Hi @Elke888 - you are also welcome to join us 🙂

Re: Share a cuppa?

I've got happy tears for you @ArraDreaming ! That is absolutely incredible to see your baby sister graduate.

She certainly does look up to you. Even though you haven't had that much to do with her, the fact that you attended would have made such a difference to her. This can be the spark that encourages her to make something of herself, just like you have.

I know you have often said you don't feel you have done much, but you are the source of inspiration for your baby sister - that is incredible in itself @ArraDreaming . She will probably become who she will be because of you.

It sounds like you are the one who has started a generational change for your family - and you ought to be so proud of that!

Re: Share a cuppa?

That's sooo good to know @Abner ! Thank you for sharing your wisdom about carbonated water with us. I have a 1.25L of carbonated water on my desk right now. I drink a fair bit of carbonated water because I know it beats sugary fizzy drinks...

I really need to start looking after myself a bit more. Exercising more too...

Any plans for tomorrow @Abner ?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hey @Bow - would you like a cuppa?
