Re: Share a cuppa?

Sounds like a relaxing time @Abner

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yes, it was a really nice day here @ArraDreaming, I've just come back from a lovely jog too, which I always find quite pleasant and relaxing. Whenever I'm anxious or distressed I've always found to be a way I can regain control I've been stripped of or had to realise I didn't have in the first place...and making yourself physically stronger, fitter and healthier does make you mentally stronger, fitter and healthier. Anyway, how are ypu and your family doing today?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yeah I like to exercise too when I’m feeling overwhelmed @Abner

Well I’m sick… maybe the flu. So just been home, took some tablets so then had a little bit of energy to go out into the garden, we have a few things that needed planting and picking, only lasted about 45 minutes but I needed to get out into the sunshine if not for my physical health for my mental health. and my family had a few things to do today and go to so I just stayed home while they did all that. Maybe tomorrow I will start to feel better

Re: Share a cuppa?

You'll start to feel better soon. My aunt Mary was a GP and she used to say that when you're feeling a bit fluey, along with the cold and flu tablets, a bit of sunshine and, as long as it's not too much, a bit of physical exertion - depending on when you're doing it - go a long way... but wait until you're much recovered before doing any hard physical work, because while you're exerting yourself really hard your immune system does dip downwards, making you more vulnerable to any viral infection you've already got. However when you're much recovered some good physical exertion will help push the remnants of the infection out. Also drink lots of water, that helps flush your system and get rid of colds and flus. Enough of my Aunt Mary's advice. How's the garden doing?

Re: Share a cuppa?

It really was a beautiful day today, wasn't it @ArraDreaming? The weather this year has taught me not to take sunny days for granted. In a climate like we have in Australia, we tend to do that, and it's a shame.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Garden is going very well @Abner very happy with how it’s all going it’s much nicer than what we moved into we have out a lot of work into it
