Share a cuppa?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Thanks for updating us @Shaz51 . Hugs.

What does your heart tell you to do?

Will you be able to afford option 1? That is, the hospital fee?

I know you are doing the best you can.

It is important to remember your own mental health as well as Mr Shaz's.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Even humans have always been musical before being linguistic. Modern humans register sound, even organised sound, before becoming linguistic. There's never a time the natural world when there's no sound, so actually we're always surrounded by music, we just don't notice it. When we're walking our feet are producing pulsed music, the cars going past close up or in the distance are making music, the stream gushing is making music, the vacuum cleaner's making different pitches of music, the wind rustling through trees is making music, the bee and the fly buzzing, the lawnmower or the whippersnapper, the roof creekiing...in short we're always surrounded by music, some lyrical, some mechanical...

@tyme

Number 1 will come out of mum's pension until a bed comes available

But then I feel guilty for not having her a home but it would be against the hospital recommendations and no home support

And yes thinking of us I am feeling the first option would be the best but then I get confused and start thinking again

Re: Share a cuppa?

Option 1 seems most feasible @Shaz51 , but I support you with whatever you decide.

Hugs, tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

Nice wish I had some one to do that with

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hugs to you @Shaz51 sorry To hear you have to make a tough decision

It’s starting pouring here! I’m not sure if anyone else is coping the rain

Re: Share a cuppa?

Tough choices @Shaz51 . I hope the daily charge at the district hospital isn't hugely different to likely ongoings at the local hospital.

When Dad went into care there was a big lump sum bond, but it was means-tested.

I hope they're not pressing you for an immediate decision.

Whatever decision you make @Shaz51, you will have considered it to the very best of your ability. You won't have made it carelessly.
