@Rockdog

I have seen you on PGC’s or Sunday hangout chats? Thought I would say hi because I don’t really know you

I know who your support worker will be. She is lovely and will feed you cakes and things. She is a talented baker. She is the Sister of my support worker. You got a great worker but they are all lovely.

how is your day going my friends

@Shaz51  Uexpectantly busy, but very productive.  A good day so far.  I hope yours is going well.

Re: Best Friends Club

Hey @Shaz51 @MJG017 and all Best Friends, how's it going?

Good to hear you're having a productive day @MJG017!

Just wanted to pop a reminder in here that if anybody wanted to share their insights and thoughts about the mental health system in Australia, and have it read by those who have the power to make changes, then be sure to post in the Make an Impact this Mental Health Awareness Month

thread and share something you'd want to change about the system. We've got until Thursday morning to add to this thread before they will be seen by those in Canberra!

Re: Best Friends Club

Hello @Ru-bee , @MJG017

Sounds like a good day @MJG017

My day was going to be productive but something threw it out the window

So maybe try again tomorrow 🤔

@Shaz51 hey Shazzy, hope you're okay

Re: Best Friends Club

Hello my @Meowmy 😊

Yes OK here , what I did not do today I will try to do it again tomorrow

How are you ☺️

Re: Best Friends Club

Thanks @Oaktree I appreciate your enthusiasm about the Service, that helps me.

You seem brilliant at finding out about things - I don't know how you do it.

I easily like people - If they come with a recommendation, that's even better.

I'm very happy to be fed cakes, especially when they're home-made ones (they taste even better).

I'm battling feelings of intense loneliness at the moment.

Too much uncertainty about adjusting to new things, eg my Job that I've been in for just 5 weeks (so far).

So having a Support Worker to meet soon, is probably good timing.

I'm looking forward to it, yet I'm not sure what to expect.

I'm Non-NDIS, which is Block-Funded by the WA Health Commission (whatever that means).
