Life challenges

Re: Life challenges

@Hopeandlove you don’t need to “do” anything. Just being you is enough. Chatting is a two way street we are all getting something out of it, otherwise we wouldn’t keep chatting.

Saying that everyone needs a break, so just because you don’t get an immediate response has no particular meaning.

Hope you have a good restful night tonight.

Re: Life challenges

You're right @Till23  about others getting something out of a two way chat. Very true.

@Hopeandlove , are you feeling slightly better with the IV in?

Re: Life challenges

@Till23 thank you.

I hope you have a good night too 💙

Re: Life challenges

@tyme the IV is still holding up but every now and then is being temperamental and they have to adjust it slightly. The pain relief they gave me through it has taken the edge off the pain so I'm a bit more comfortable at the moment.

Re: Life challenges

Glad you feel a little more comfy. You are such a battler... Good on you mate @Hopeandlove

Re: Life challenges

Thank you @tyme . I better try to get some sleep, this is actually the longest I've been able to stay awake for over the past several days.

I hope you have a good night, thanks for chatting to me 💙

Re: Life challenges

Well @Hopeandlove I was walking anyhow so I might as well raise some money for causes I think are worthwhile.

phone cameras are very good these days.

It has been shown that people who just look at nature photos have better outcomes than those who just look at usual hospital surrounds.

So maybe Google some nature scenes on your phone

Yeah I haven’t played Wordle for a fair while

Re: Life challenges

Rest up my dear @Hopeandlove

Re: Life challenges

@Till23 that's truly amazing, you should be proud of your efforts and supporting great charities. Thank you for everything you have done for them.

I've been looking at pictures on google, lucky there is an endless supply of pictures. I'm also on some groups on Facebook that share nature pictures. I try to imagine myself being in nature rather than being stuck on a hospital bed, laying in the grass staring up at the clouds or the stars in the night sky, listening to birds chirping and the trees rustling in the wind.

Re: Life challenges

@Hopeandlove that’s brilliant you have created a little haven of nature bliss for yourself. More resilience.

I love listening to the wind in the trees, it’s second only to crashing waves in my favourite sounds.

I also love listening to birds my favourite is “my” magpies in my yard.
